FAQ's

Q: What is non-woven backing / paste-the-wall?

A: 'Paste-the-Wall' non-woven backing is a special backing which allows wallpaper to be hung dry from the roll. This means that unlike conventional wallpapers, the backing paper is dimensionally stable and doesn't expand when it gets wet.

The wall is pasted and not the back of the wallpaper (although it can be if the decorator prefers) so there's no need for a pasting table, there is less mess, the paper is easier to cut, trim and install saving you plenty of the non-renewable resource called time!

When you are ready to redecorate the top layer of wallpaper is easily stripped off without the need for steaming or scraping!

Q: Is the wallpaper fire rated?

A:
Fire safety is a key concern and our wallpapers are manufactured to ensure that in the event of a fire, the wallcovering does not help it spread. Our product has been tested to comply with fire safety regulations under British Standard 476 Class '0'.

To minimise the hazard in the event of fire DO NOT hang wallpapers over expanded polystyrene veneers or any other such highly flammable products and ensure that wallpapers are always firmly stuck down.
